1. WHEN DID FITNESS BECOME A PART OF YOUR LIFE?

Probably around 11 or 12 years old. My Dad purchased a membership for me at the local YMCA ( which I was only able to go with him). Being obsessed with playing baseball and football I knew how important resistance training was and how it would improve my performance on the field

 

2. WHY ARE YOU IN THE FITNESS INDUSTRY?

I’m passionate about helping others achieve goals that once were unattainable. Seeing an individual become healthier is priceless

1. WHEN DID FITNESS BECOME A PART OF YOUR LIFE?

I was always active as a kid. Swam all summer long from morning until night, biked and rollerskated everywhere...still do... better on my rollerblades than I am in heels

2. WHY ARE YOU IN THE FITNESS INDUSTRY?

I LOVE it. I absolutely love how it makes me feel and how it makes others feel to be fit and live healthy lifestyles. It makes me extremely happy to see people of all ages hit their fitness goals and do things that they never imagined they could. It not only changes a person physically but it changes them mentally when they realize they can do anything they put their mind to

When I was 17 years old my mom signed me and my sister up to Lucille Roberts.

WHEN DID FITNESS BECCOME A PART OF YOUR LIFE?

Fitness became a part of my life in high school when I joined the track and soccer team. Even before high school I remember training myself so that I would be ready to make the team. In college I didn’t play sports so I started going to the school gym and that’s where I fell in love with lifting weights.

WHY ARE YOU IN THE FITNESS INDUSTRY?

I'm in the fitness industry because I realized it was my passion to help others reach their goals and help them create habits that would lead to a healthier lifestyle. I want to be able to share the knowledge that I’ve learned and surround myself with positive uplifting people.

1. WHEN DID FITNESS BECOME A PART OF YOUR LIFE?

Fitness has always been a big part of my life growing up as an athlete. I played many sports from a young age but I never fully understood the importance of functional fitness training and how it improves your athletic capabilities.When high school ended, I also stopped playing sports. I felt like a part of me was missing so when I was 17 decided to join a gym. I quickly became addicted to running and powerlifting

Knowing that fitness has changed me for the better, I wanted to help others reach their goals as well so that they may lead healthier lives

When did fitness become a part of your life?

I was always active growing up, with sports, but I didnt start hitting the gym until my freshman year of college.

Why are you in the fitness industry?

I fell in love with my own journey and the impact it had on my life. I want to help others fall in love with the process and become better versions of themselves. To see someone not only change physically but mentally/emotionally is priceless.

When you're not coaching where can we find you and what are you doing? 

You can find me at the gym doing my own workout, With my girlfriend, or catching up with a few friends over a beer.

When did fitness become a part of your life?  

I started doing gymnastics at age 4.  By age seven, I was training five days a week and competing in gymnastics competitions every weekend.  My gymnastics career ended around age 20.  I started running and going to the gym to weight train. I started working with personal trainers in my early thirties and found boot camp classes that I enjoyed in my late thirties.  I started participating in CrossFit in my early 40’s and continue to love fitness in any form and fashion.   

Why are you in the fitness industry?   

I am in the fitness industry because fitness makes me feel complete!  I love working out! I love how my coaches helped me become the best version of myself physical and mentally and love helping others become their best version of themselves.

When you're not coaching where can we find you and what are you doing?

When I’m not coaching you can find me doing CrossFit, yoga, running, skiing, walking my dog, spending quality time with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors whenever possible!

I lived in Atlanta, GA for 10 years and was a live-in nanny and massage therapist.

When did fitness become a part of your life?

I’ve always been an active child, but fitness truly became a part of my life when I suffered a knee injury in 2017. The road to recovery had me fascinated with movement mechanics. So much so, that I ended up changing majors in school to kinesiology.

Why are you in the fitness industry?

I’ve learned a lot and fitness has done so much for me. I want to be able to give that back to the community.

You can find me in the pool teaching swim lessons, or trying something new!

When did fitness become a part of your life? 

As an early teen my dad signed me up for a local gym in an effort to become healthier and the rest is history. I fell in love with the energy within the walls of a fitness center. It’s the one place I feel most myself.

Why are you in the fitness industry?

There were numerous times in my life I didn’t feel my best and fitness always brought me back. It centered me. I want to be able to do that for other people. Any way I can help someone I will. I will go to bat to help someone feel their best.

When you're not coaching, where can we find you and what re you doing?

I love finding cool restaurants and hidden gems of places for good food and strong coffee. I like finding fun ways to practice the fitness we work hard  for- rock climbing, Spartan Races, 5Ks or simply hitting the beach and getting some sun. 

Tell us something about you that we don't already know. 

Despite how infrequently I actually do it- I love to cook! I’m usually a “grab and go” protein guy when it comes to meals but sometimes it’s therapy to make something from scratch in the kitchen.

When did fitness become a part of your life?
Fitness has always been a part of my life. I grew up playing sports and quickly found that I had a competitive side. I decided to leave my career in fashion industry in 2014 and haven't looked back since. 

Why are you in the fitness industry?

I love being able to teach people new skills. Just spending an hour with a person, learning, talking can really change their outlook on themselves.

When you're not coaching where can we find you and what are you doing? 

I mean when I’m not coaching, I also workout. But when I’m not in the gym you can find me with my family and friends. I love a good adventure.

When did fitness become part of your life? 

I was always active when I was younger but I would say my passion for fitness didn’t really begin until I started college about 15 years ago. It was the first time I had access to a gym. That’s where I fell in love with exercising. I started running a couple times a week and went from not being able to run 0.25 miles to running a half marathon. I also started strength training and would spend hours with my friends working out. 

Why are you in the fitness industry? 

I think I’m in the fitness Industry because it combines my passion of fitness with my enjoyment of working with people, helping them see their potential, and pushing them to reach their goals. (The most political answer I’ve ever given in my life)

Driven, Smart & Outgoing 

When you're not coaching where can we find you and what are you doing? 

When I’m not coaching, you can find me in a math classroom of a high school educating the youth. You can also find me outside, either walking my dog Slinky, running, or living my best life at the beach (in the summer). I also might be on my couch watching TV or scrolling Instagram. 

Tell us something about you that most people don't already know.  

I love watching HGTV and thinking about how I would design my kitchen in my nonexistent house.
