From Grand Opening until today, Lucia still  manages to amaze me. She has worked incredibly hard to get to where she is. She took control of her body and her health and once she did, she never looked back. She put aside her “can’t do’s” and turned them it “I will try it.” It’s made my heart smile to see her grow into the athlete she is today. Confidence, strength and resilience are no longer strangers to her. She’s embraced these qualities and made them her own. Continue to set the bar for supermom Lucia!!! Congrats! -coach Julia

Working with Lucia has been such a pleasure. I’m super grateful to have her as a client and to see her growth as an athlete. Through adversity she shows up. After a shoulder surgery she’s been working hard to remain consistent and work through it and get better. And that did not stop her from participating in this years open and pushing herself to be the best version of herself. And not just for herself but for those around her. Super proud of her for achieving athlete of the month! Congrats Lucia!-coach Ligia

What do you enjoy most about being a member of The CircHIIT?

Community!  I know everyone says it, but it’s so true.  The coaches are encouraging and patient, and the members are great.

How/when did you get involved with The CircHIIT?

When the gym first opened. I was looking to get healthy and fit.

How did you feel after your first workout at The CircHIIT?

Honestly, exhausted lol.  I was so out of shape, but Julia was so good to me.  She let me go at my pace, and encouraged me through the classes.

What do you enjoy most about The CircHIIT?

Love that I get a total body workout, some cardio and strength. Also that it’s never the same workout.

What is your favorite station and movement at The CircHIIT?

The rower by far of the cardio and the TRX stations.  I usually enjoy all movements that involve strength training.

What is your least favorite stations/ movement at The CircHIIT?

 Probably the treadmill, and burpees!!!

What motivates you?

Staying healthy and getting stronger.  When I was younger my goal was to be skinny and toned…, but now I love the feeling of becoming stronger.

How has The CircHIIT changed you?

I feel more confident, and has taught me that I can… before the first thing I’d say was I can’t do that.  Now I see a workout and I say, I’ll try until I can.

What were your goals when you started this journey ?

I was looking to get fit, and feel “normal”.  For years, I lived with pain and I wanted to take ownership of my own body and not let pain own me.

What are your goals for the upcoming year?

Work on becoming “Cardio fit”, and strengthen my upper body and core.

Do you have any advice for new members?

Becoming fit is a journey, so don’t give up. The coaches are there to guide you and the members are the biggest cheerleaders.
