
“Max has been part of our Pre-Teens program for almost 7 months now, and has been such a great addition to our community! Max first joined us on a “family day” at the gym and he was nervous, but excited to try something new. He then quickly joined, and has grown immensely since his first day. When Max began, he was shy and challenged by a lot of the movements that were new to him like most new athletes. He is now more confident in his ability to learn, adapt and is very coachable. He is always eager to do well and willing to put in the work. He always comes to class ready to work and never gives up! Max is getting stronger every class and works really hard. What do you enjoy most about being a member of CFMV?
The motivation I get from working out with the other members. It feels great to be a part of a group of kids who work hard and it makes me want to work hard too. Coach Amena makes class fun yet challenging!
What do you enjoy most about CF?
I enjoy feeling strong. I have gained strength since starting and can't wait to see how much stronger I will be.
When did you start CF?
I did a couple of Family Day classes and enjoyed them and then I started doing Saturday classes in June. My mom initially pushed me to do it but now I look forward to class every week!
What was your first CF workout?How did you feel after?
omg it had jumping rope and kettlebell squats. My ears were ringing and I felt like throwing up. Even so, I felt so good after!
What is your favorite movement?
Muscle ups! I don't know why but they are cool
What is your favorite game?
Sally! it's challenging
How has CF changed you?
It's made me stronger! it's helped with my basketball training. I now join my dad in his workouts in the evening too. My mom and I compare our workouts on Saturdays. I hope my brother and sister join soon. we like to be an active family
What were your goals when you started?
I never did a squat before so those were hard to do right. Now I can get down so low!
What are your goals for this year?
Push ups. I'm working on those!
