I have watched Wendy just about every Saturday and Wednesday take on CrossFit and CircHIIT back to back. Never ONCE complaining. She gets is done. She is eager to learn and appreciates when a coach coaches her. She welcomes learning how to be better with movements and practices until she hears "yes that's it." She always walks in with a smile and walks out with an even bigger one. She is pleasure to have in class and as a part of our community! Congrats girlfriend! Great way to start the year and can't wait to see how you finish it!

What do you enjoy most about being a member of The CircHIIT?

As a member of The CircHIIT I enjoy the workouts and the supportive coaches and members. It is a place where you don’t only create fitness friends but also a place where you learn from each other. If at any point I have any doubts about a workout or a movement the coaches are always willing to help me. 

How/when did you get involved with The CircHIIT?

I always wanted to join a CrossFit class but I felt so intimidated and I also knew that I needed to focus on CircHIIT to work on my goals. Through a mutual friend and current CircHIIT member I was able to try my first CircHIIT class in August 2021. 

How did you feel after your first workout at The CircHIIT? 

After my first workout at The CircHIIT I knew I had to be dedicated and put in all my effort if I wanted to reach my goals. I felt exhausted but I felt so welcomed and I loved that everyone at the CircHIIT was so helpful in helping me understand how to do the workouts and how to follow the different stations.  

What do you enjoy most about The CircHIIT? 

I enjoy the partner workouts as well as the Tabata workouts. I feel like the partner workouts give you an opportunity to push each other. Tabata is always one of my favorites because it allows me to complete my workouts while pushing my body to the max.

What is your favorite station and movement at The CircHIIT?

The cycling bike, rower and dumbbell shoulder press are my favorite.

What is your least favorite stations/ movement at The CircHIIT?

My least favorite is the treadmill. 

What motivates you?

I am motivated by the amazing coaches who always believe in my potential. In addition, I always remind myself why working out is so important to my health. I am always pushing to learn and stay focused in order to achieve my goals. While sometimes it's hard when balancing work and working out I continue to push myself everyday.  

How has The CircHIIT changed you?

The CircHIIT has changed me because it has helped me become stronger, consistent in my workouts while learning and meeting other amazing athlete members and coaches.  

What were your goals when you started this journey ?

My goals were to lose weight and to participate in CrossFit classes as well as CircHIIT. 

What are your goals for the upcoming year?

To continue learning, building strength and become stronger in CircHIIT and CrossFit. 

Do you have any advice for new members?

Coming in new is always hard. I felt intimidated and also afraid of not knowing what to expect. However, everyone starts and builds themselves up. I have learned that it is important not to compare yourself to others. Everyone is on a different level. We all start as beginners and what's amazing about this community is that no matter your level of expertise you will not be judged.
