LISA CRIVELLI
"Lisa is such a pleasure to have in class. She is motivating, coachable, happy and has a positive attitude everytime she walks in and out of the room. She glows with sexy sweat ;) at the end of every class, telling the story of just how hard she worked in that hour. She kicks a$$, her own, every time she steps in the room. She embraces the challenge and turns the grit into an obstacle she overcomes and does it with a satisfied smile. Keep going girl! Nothing is going to stop you from accomplishing whatever is you set out to do! Can't wait to see how you take on 2024!!!" -Coach Julia
What do you enjoy most about being a member of The CircHIIT?
Love being part of this community! From the coaches to the other members, these are the best people to start my day with because they are encouraging and positive.
How/when did you get involved with The CircHIIT?
I started with The CircHIIT in the fall of 2022 and I was looking for ways to vary my workout, incorporate strength and challenge myself.
How did you feel after your first workout at The CircHIIT?
My first workout was a little intimidating, but I was intrigued…mostly because I surprised myself. I thought I’d be overwhelmed and I wasn’t. And then the more I came, the more comfortable it became, while still remaining a challenge.
What do you enjoy most about The CircHIIT?
I like that it’s never the same workout, but it’s never overwhelming amounts of change. And it’s just enough of a challenge that you see progress.
What is your favorite station and movement at The CircHIIT?
Okay, I actually love handstands and wall walks…and I’m almost 44. So probably the Pull Up Bars. The fact that I can still do inverted moves makes me super proud of myself. I may or may not show this off at home in front of my kids. And I recently was able to do a chin up for the first time in my entire life, so there’s also that.
What is your least favorite stations/ movement at The CircHIIT?
The rower.
That’s it.
That’s my answer.
What motivates you?
I’m motivated by both goals and being around positive people so combining the two in my class has been really productive. Having a partner or coach cheer you on to reach a goal each round just makes you push yourself a little harder and it feels awesome when you reach that goal.
What were your goals when you started this journey ?
Lose weight and tone up but since I began, I’ve realized that the toning and muscle comes and your body changes even if your weight doesn’t.
What are your goals for the upcoming year?
Continue working on core strength and toning those abs, baby!
Do you have any advice for new members?
Don’t give up and the more you put into the classes, the more you get out of it. And most of all, have fun!
