"Jillian has been a member with us for about six months now and already came in as such a beast.
The last 6 months, Jillian comes in with so much determination and drive, she crushes all of the class workouts! Keep crushing it Jillian, you are super talented!!" - COACH JULIANA

What do you enjoy most about being a member of The CircHIIT?

I love the challenging and motivating, yet welcoming atmosphere. I love how energetic and motivating the coaches are, always pushing me to be my absolute best and reach my fitness goals.

How/when did you get involved with The CircHIIT?

I got involved in the CircHIIT after I ran the NYC marathon this November. After training and running alone for over a year, I wanted to surround myself with a team of motivated individuals and gain strength. I was completing my rotation in PA school and one of the PAs on the unit recommended the CircHIIT and I have been coming since!

How did you feel after your first workout at The CircHIIT?

After my first workout of the CircHIIT, I felt extremely tired (and sweaty) but I loved the energy of pushing myself to the limit and building strength rather than a simple cardio workout. Honestly, the next day, I could not walk up the stairs, but that's how I knew I had a great workout!

What do you enjoy most about The CircHIIT?

I enjoy that the workout incorporates a full body training, both cardio and strength. I enjoy the 6 different stations and working on each muscle group. Every time I walk in, I know I will be surrounded by great energy and will leave feeling accomplished.

What is your favorite station and movement at The CircHIIT?

My favorite station is the pullup bars. I could never even think about doing a pull up before I joined and now I am almost there (working on it). I am always up for a challenge and the CircHIIT certainly does not disappoint.

What is your least favorite stations/ movement at The CircHIIT?

My least favorite station is the rower, and by no surprise it is because it is the hardest for me. I always go to the rower first to try to start fresh and give my best effort. When I started, I would never be able to hit the goals on the screen, however now I am starting to hit them (yay)!

What motivates you?

My coaches at the CircHIIT consistently motivate me to be my best self and to be better and stronger every day. I look up to Ligia and Juliana as role models on my fitness journey! They are awesome. They are always positive and challenge me. I also love their playlists :)

How has The CircHIIT changed you?

The CircHIIT has made me a stronger, more confident person. I learned to push myself and to accept challenges and to never give up.

What were your goals when you started this journey ?

My goal was mainly to become stronger. As a runner, I felt like I lost a lot of muscle mass. I finally have muscle tone in my arms. I can’t wait for tank top season :)

What are your goals for the coming year?

My goals for the upcoming year are to be consistent and finally complete a full pull-up without assistance. I would love to incorporate more crossfit into my workouts as well. There's always room for improvement.

Do you have any advice for new members?

My advice is to always show up, be consistent, and to never put yourself down. At first, it will feel uncomfortable and challenging. Go the extra mile, do the extra rep. Fitness is more than your appearance or your body, it is about your character and your ability to challenge yourself.
