He has not only motivated himself but has inspired his children, nieces and I know his pregnant wife can not wait to get started too. He comes in ready to work. What do you enjoy most about being a member of The CircHIIT?
The best part of being a member of The CircHIIT is the community. Being able to work out with a great set of coaches and members who have similar goals in mind is incredible. Each person encourages you every time. It is a great feeling being part of that circle. I also love that I can be a role model for my kids.
How/when did you get involved with The CircHIIT?
I first got involved in August of 2024, driving by the gym on a daily basis. Funny story is that I had entered the gym back in March of 2024 and did not find the motivation. I had been to gyms before but never as intensely as I had seen that day when I walked in. So I think I was afraid in all honesty. BUT, in August I faced my fear and jumped in head first.
How did you feel after your first workout at The CircHIIT?
To Be honest, I was in agony right after my first workout, but inside it was a good agony as it reminded me that I needed that wake up call. My health was a priority and I knew then it was the best way. I had my first workout on a Tuesday… I did not know then that those are the hardest workouts of the week… I now have come to enjoy Tuesdays
What do you enjoy most about The CircHIIT?
The best part of The CircHIIT are the workouts, the variety of workouts, they never repeat and it's always exciting walking through those doors not knowing what is in store for that day. Each time I feel all parts of my body get a work out.
What is your favorite station and movement at The CircHIIT?
My favorite station is the Rower and my favorite movement is the Thruster
What is your least favorite station/ movement at The CircHIIT?
My least favorite station is the treadmill and my least favorite movement is the pull up.
What motivates you?
I am motivated by the desire to get into shape and feel the energy I once had. I also get motivated by the Coaches who push me every time to better myself and work harder as they see my limits as I grow. One other motivation is my kids. They are part of the community and I want them to do their best and this motivates me to do my best as they see how much I enjoy it.
What were your goals when you started this journey ?
My goals when I started this journey were to get fit and better my overall health since I do have an underlying health condition which for years I was told required me to do exercise.
What are your goals for the upcoming year?
My goals for the year to come include, being able to run better, lift more weight (get stronger), gain more stamina and bring my body back to what it was physically, mentally and emotionally in my 20’s
Do you have any advice for new members?
If there is any advice I would offer, it would be, don't be afraid, don't get discouraged. Look to the future and focus on the betterment of your health. Be consistent even if it's at your own pace. In time it gets easier and then it is you who makes it harder as you learn your limits and push yourself past those limits.
