What do you enjoy most about being a member of CrossFit Middle Village?

The Members, Coaches and atmosphere. The members at CFMV are hardworking and determined to become the best person they can possibly be. It is truly motivating. The coaches are dedicated to providing us with the tools that will enable us to complete our goals and the atmosphere because every class is a good time.

How/when did you get involved in CrossFit?

I got involved in Crossfit just over a year ago. Coach Rick recommended taking up Crossfit at CFMV

What was your first CrossFit workout? How did you feel afterwards?

It was an outdoor workout with coach Chris, Rick and Amy. I was exhausted and out of breath! I left wanting to take my training seriously because I never wanted to feel that way ever again.

What do you enjoy most about CrossFIt?

I enjoy the challenges that the programming provides, They always keep you on your toes and always wanting to put the gains in strength, cardio and gymnastics that you've made to the test.

What is your favorite WOD or Lift?

I really enjoy the Olympic weight lifting (Shout out to the Barbell Club!) and any WOD that has olympic lifts and cardio programmed into it.

What is your least favorite WOD or Lift?

This has to be a trick question! LOL. Lets just say I have a love hate relationship with all the WODs and lifts because I hate doing them but love the feeling of accomplishment afterwards.

What motivates you? How has CrossFit changed you?

Like I said earlier the members at CFMV, They are hardworking and it is truly motivating. I'll get to class early and see the previous class doing the WOD and find myself saying “He or she has great conditioning/strength, I need to step my game up” Keep up the hard work guys!

What were your goals when you started this journey ?

Increase my strength and conditioning.

What are your goals for the upcoming year?

Continue to increase my strength and conditioning and do some WODs RX.

Do you have any advice for new members?

Just come in, Take a class and do the work! and Trust the process. The person that you will be 3-6 months from now will thank you. Also, The coaches and members will be there for you every step of the way.

...And come join Barbell Club so you can get your strength up!
