What do you enjoy most about being a member of CrossFit Middle Village? 

What I enjoy most about being a member is the fact that everyone (coaches and other members) push you past your limits and encourage to do better. 

How/when did you get involved in CrossFit? 

I initially joined Crossfit in May, 2019 because I had signed up to compete in the Spartan Race and I needed to build my stamina and strength. 

What was your first CrossFit workout? How did you feel afterwards? 

 My first workout involved burpees, wall balls, and snatches. Afterwards I felt exhausted, but also motivated and accomplished for being able to keep up with the class. 

What do you enjoy most about CrossFIt?

What I enjoy the most about Crossfit is being able to build up my strength with all the different workouts.

What is your favorite WOD or Lift? 

My favorite lift is front squats and deadlifts. It’s where I feel the strongest.

What is your least favorite WOD or Lift?.  

Anything that involves burpees

What motivates you? How has CrossFit changed you? 

My desire to get into the best shape of my life and to become the best version that I can be is what motivates me to come to class. Crossfit has changed me by giving me the tools and ammo to focus on my personal goals

What were your goals when you started this journey ? 

When I started this journey my goal was to be able to start and finish the Spartan Race by building my stamina.

What are your goals for the upcoming year? 

My goal for this upcoming year is to compete in another Spartan Race (next level up) and to reach my weight loss goal.

Do you have any advice for new members? 

Don’t afraid to ask questions! It’s for your personal benefit and gain when you do. Speak to your coaches when necessary
