MIRKA MOLCZYK 

"Mirka started her fitness journey with the Fit over 40 program and then transitioned to the more challenging CircHIIT workouts. Everything was difficult for her in the beginning; in fact she walked out halfway through the first class, but she never quit and showed up everyday.She was determined to be a better version of herself. Fast forward to this day and she has lost OVER 30lbs, runs on the treadmill, boxjumps and looks and feels better than she has in a very long time!!!She's is the prime example of what consistency and grit will get you! It has been a pleasure watching her grow stronger not only physically but mentally as well.-Coach Antony 

What do you enjoy most about being a member of The CircHIIT?

Being a member of The CircHIIT is a great pleasure and opportunity. I enjoy every aspect such as great trainers and the wide range of equipment and courses available. I think that my favorite part about it is the great community and the support I felt from everyone around me to get to where I am today.

How/when did you get involved with The CircHIIT?

Since my kids were members of the gym for a short period of time I received an email inviting women after 40 to work out. I knew it would be a great start for me.

How did you feel after your first workout at The CircHIIT? 

If I have to be honest I felt really bad.. I was extremely tired and throughout the workout I felt like I wouldn’t be able to make it and that I would give up.  But that was part of the process for me. It showed me how much I needed to improve.

What do you enjoy most about The CircHIIT? 

The CircHIIT is the way of working out which never gets boring. There is no chance of having the same workout. Julia, you mastered the schedule. 

What is your favorite station and movement at The CircHIIT?

My favorite station is the bike. That was the only station from the very beginning where I felt I am good at and where I was confident.

What are your least favorite stations/ movements at The CircHIIT?

I don't want to say my least favorite but the one which was the hardest and the one I struggled with the most was treadmill. But I made a promise that I would teach myself to like it. And I am progressing with the help of Ligia and Antony who from the very beginning with an encouraging smile on their faces were adding speed saying “you can do this”. I really appreciate them now and I think they are a huge part of my progress...

What motivates you?

There are many factors in what motivates me. Pushing myself and overcoming my weaknesses. Going one step further makes me want to challenge myself to keep going. .I still have a lot of struggles and stuff that are hard for me to do but instead of giving up I want to learn them and that is what motivates me. (push ups…here I go..)

How has The CircHIIT changed you?

 I think that the biggest way The CircHIIT changed me was mentally. I went from thinking of giving up, to now pushing myself past my limits everytime. Of Course The CircHIIT changed me physically but I think the mentality aspect is more important.

What were your goals when you started this journey ?

My goals were to change the way I felt about myself. I did not like what I was seeing in the mirror. 

What are your goals for the upcoming year?

I’m still not where I want to be, so of course I have more goals. Some are losing a bit more weight. I also want to be stronger and be able to run faster for a longer period of time. 

Do you have any advice for new members?

My advice for new members would be that the feeling of giving up is only temporary, you have to push past that feeling everytime in order to overcome your challenge both mentally and physically. Having the right mentality is the most important part throughout your workout. And remember you are not alone in your journey !!
